Q. Where is the event?

A. We are returning to the Nines Hotel located at 525 SW Morrison Street in downtown Portland. Parking instructions are below.

Q. How do I get to the venue?

A. Public transportation options are available HERE. Directions to the hotel available HERE. 

Q. Where do I park?

A. Valet parking is available through the Nines for a special event guest rate of $29. There are also paid lots and paid street parking near the venue. Lyft, Uber, town car, taxis, and public transportation are also good options. The nearest Smart Parks is at 3rd & Alder (621 SW 3rd) and is a few blocks from the hotel. Evening parking rates begin at 5:00 pm.

Q. What time does the event start?

A. Registration opens at 6:00 pm. Enter through the Nines' lobby (on Morrison St) and take the elevator up to the 6th floor. The registration tables will be around the corner after you exit the elevator.

Q. What should I wear to the auction?

A. Cocktail and theme-related attire is encouraged. The auction theme is Prom Night in the Enchanted Forest, so there are many ideas out there to play around with. Dust off your old prom dress, don a vintage tuxedo, wear a mushroom print outfit, etc. The canopy's the limit!

Q. Do I need to wear a mask at the event?

A. Yes, masks will be required to be worn when not actively eating or drinking. 

Q. Are there other COVID requirements in order to attend?

A. Proof of vaccination (photo or card) or negative doctor verified test within 24-hours of the start of the event, plus photo ID, will be required to attend. Please refer to the full COVID-19 disclaimer on the Tickets page.

Q. Can I proxy bid?

A. Yes! If you are not able to attend the auction, but would still like to support this fundraiser by bidding on a Live Auction item, please contact our development office.

Live Auction items can be previewed in the online catalog. An email notification with a link to the auction catalog will be sent a few days before the event.

Q. Can I bid on the Silent Auction at the in-person (live) event?

A. Yes, but it will a bit different than before. The Silent Auction will be completely online with bidding open from Wednesday, March 2 until noon Monday, March 7. The actual items will not be at the event. So, yes, you can bid on the Silent Auction at the live event - you'll just need to do so from your smartphone - or wait until after the event as bidding will remain open until Monday. An email notification with link to the Silent Auction will be sent when it opens.
